Radio Warneford broadcasts a wide variety of programmes for patients and staff at Warwick Hospital. These feature music, comedy, information, sport, films, poetry, short stories and much more. At present, Radio Warneford is on-air between 7pm and 10pm on weekdays and between 10.30am and 8.30pm on Sundays. Our most important programme is the Request Show. Our Ward Visitors go round the hospital each evening to chat to patients and their visitors and to collect requests for the programme later that night. Radio Warneford also mounts special broadcasts regularly throughout the year. These range from one-off programmes like the special Request Shows on Mother's Day and Father's Day to a full day of programmes for Bank Holidays. At Christmas, we broadcast around seventy hours of festive programmes over nine or ten days!
