The Radio Warneford Easter Egg Tombola
at Sainsbury's in Leamington Spa

Radio Warneford, the hospital radio service for South Warwickshire, will be staging its first major fund raising event of 2010 this weekend.

The Easter Egg Tombola will be taking place at the Sainsbury's store, Shires Retail Park, Leamington Spa on Saturday 13th March between 9.00am and 3.30pm.

Visitors to Sainsbury's will have the chance to win an Easter Egg. Tickets cost just 25p or four for £1. That's four chances to win a prize! Pick a ticket that ends with a "0" or a "5" and you're a winner!

We are absolutely delighted that this year's event is once again being sponsored by Sainsbury's in Leamington Spa and that we are able to hold the event at the store itself.

We will also be recruiting for broadcasting teams and some of our members will be on hand to answer your questions and tell you what's involved in being a hospital radio volunteer. Why not stop by and find yourself a brand new interest!

Radio Warneford relies on public donations to run its service. All proceeds from the Easter Egg Tombola will be used to maintain and improve the radio service that Radio Warneford's volunteer members provide for patients at Warwick Hospital.

Sara Lister, Radio Warneford's Chairman, says "It is fantastic that Sainsbury's in Leamington Spa have chosen to sponsor our first 2010 fund raising event, especially after all of the support they gave us last year. Being able to hold the Tombola within the Leamington store means that many more people will have to chance find out about the work we do - and of course win an egg for Easter!"
