Waitrose Donates £250 To Radio Warneford

Waitrose in Kenilworth has made a fantastic donation to Radio Warneford, the hospital radio service for patients and staff at Warwick Hospital.

Earlier this month, Radio Warneford's Station Manger, Ley Bricknell, received a cheque from Wendy Dodic of Waitrose for £250. The donation will be used to help maintain and improve the service that Radio Warneford provides to patients and staff at Warwick Hospital.

Under the Waitrose Community Matters scheme, the store donates £1,000 every month to local good causes nominated by customers.

Sara Lister, Radio Warneford's Chairman, says "It is wonderful for Radio Warneford to receive this donation from Waitrose. Radio Warneford completely relies on donations from local people and organisations to continue and develop its service and this generous support from Waitrose in Kenilworth really kick-starts our fundraising in 2010."
