Date: 22 March 2004 Radio Warneford's Easter Egg Tombola Radio Warneford, the award-winning hospital radio service for South Warwickshire, will be holding its first fund raising event of 2004 this weekend. Our popular Easter Egg Tombola will be part of the Saturday Market in the Market Square, Warwick on Saturday 27th March from 9.00am until 4.00pm. The Tombola has been a fixture in Radio Warneford's fund raising calendar since 1992 and this will be the first time that the station has staged the event in Warwick. Visitors to the market will have the chance to win Easter Eggs and chocolates kindly donated by local organisations and Radio Warneford members. You can get four tickets for just £1. That's four chances to win a prize! The young (and young at heart) will also have the opportunity to meet the Easter Bunny! As well as the Tombola, people will be able to find out more about becoming a member of Radio Warneford. Some of our current members will be on hand to answer questions and give out membership packs and leaflets. All proceeds from the Easter Egg Tombola will be used to maintain and improve the radio service that Radio Warneford's volunteer members provide for patients and staff at Warwick Hospital.
