Date: 13 January 2003 RADIO WARNEFORD TO HOLD RECRUITMENT DAY Have you ever thought about doing voluntary work? Do you want to enhance your social life? Have you ever wondered what goes on in a radio studio? Do you want to make a difference to someone else? Radio Warneford, the award-winning hospital broadcasting service based at Warwick Hospital, is holding a Recruitment Day at the Tesco store in Warwick for prospective new members on Saturday 18th January 2003. It's an ideal opportunity for anyone with an interest in hospital radio or voluntary work to come along and find out what's involved. We currently have a number of vacancies for members to join both our programme and ward visiting teams. You don't need to have any previous broadcasting experience as we provide a comprehensive training programme. The only requirement is that you are at least 18 years of age. There is no upper age limit. A friendly approach and being able to work in a team environment will do the job. If you would like to find out a little bit more about hospital radio, then come along to the main foyer of the Tesco store on Emscote Road in Warwick between 10am and 4pm. Some of our members will be on hand during the day to answer your questions and tell you more about the benefits of being a part of Radio Warneford. For more information, call us on (01926) 401402 or look at the Membership section of this website. Issued by Andy Dowell, Communications Manager
