Snitterfield Village Fête
Radio Warneford recently took part in the 2016 Snitterfield Village Fête, providing OB facilities.
The theme of the fête this year was "Carnival" and featured a huge assortment of stalls and attractions.
The fête played host to a Dog Show along with miniature horses, alpacas and bees! There was plenty of entertainment, courtesy of a display of music, dancing and workshops from Oya Batucada, a Brazilian samba band, with dancers and a local Capoeira display group

The annual fête raises funds for local projects in the village. Funds from the 2015 event went towards a new five bar gate for the Sports Club, a new porch for the Village Hall and to the Village Primary School for an extension to the Woodland Area and Sensory Garden.
If you have got some free time on your hands and you are looking for an exciting new interest, then why not do something special for your community here in South Warwickshire.
Radio Warneford is currently on the lookout for new volunteers of all ages* to help us continue our award-winning broadcasts to patients at Warwick Hospital.
We have vacancies in our Tuesday evening team but we can find space for successful volunteers in our other broadcasting teams if you are suitable - Monday to Friday evenings, Sunday mornings and Sunday evenings. We are also looking for people with a few hours free on one or two afternoons a week to visit patients in Warwick Hospital to have a chat and collect requests.
